Napoleon Rogue® PRO 525 Gas Grill
The Rogue PRO 525 is the mid-size step in the Rogue PRO lineup — more cooking surface and more main burners than the PRO 425, with the same infrared SIZZLE ZONE™ side burner and the same space-smart design that makes the Rogue PRO series practical for real backyards. Available in stainless steel or black, it’s a grill built to perform consistently and look sharp doing it.
Five Burners, More Room to Cook
The PRO 525 runs four main stainless steel tube burners across a 28.75-inch primary cooking surface, plus the upgraded 3-tile infrared SIZZLE ZONE™ side burner — 62,000 BTUs total across five burners. That’s a meaningful step up from the three main burners and 56,000 BTUs on the PRO 425, and the extra width shows up in how much you can cook simultaneously.
With 525 square inches of primary cooking area, you can fit up to 32 burgers on the main grate at once. The stainless steel warming rack adds space above for a total of 851 square inches — enough to keep finished food warm while the next batch cooks below, or run two-zone cooking across different temperature levels without anything crowding anything else.
Four individually controlled main burners give you the flexibility to set up multiple heat zones across that surface. Direct grilling on one side, indirect heat on the other, and the SIZZLE ZONE™ side burner running independently for searing — all at the same time.
Infrared Searing That Actually Works
The upgraded 3-tile infrared SIZZLE ZONE™ side burner reaches the extreme temperatures needed for a real sear. The kind of caramelized crust that locks in juices and delivers restaurant-quality results isn’t achievable on a standard burner — the infrared side burner does it reliably, in seconds. It also functions as a standard gas side burner for sauces, sides, and anything else that benefits from a dedicated flame away from the main grate.
For anyone who’s used an infrared side burner before, the 3-tile configuration with a stainless steel grid is a meaningful upgrade over older single-tile designs — more even heat distribution across the sear zone, better results on larger cuts.
Two Finishes, Same Build Quality
The Rogue PRO 525 is available in stainless steel and black. The stainless version features rust-resistant stainless steel cooking grids and a stainless exterior designed to hold up through years of outdoor use. The black version uses a durable black porcelain enamel lid and doors with black powder coat on the control panel and side shelves — a finish that resists fingerprints and handles Michigan weather without showing wear.
Both share the same core construction: cast aluminum firebox for corrosion resistance, WAVE™ stainless steel cooking grids for consistent heat and signature sear marks, and dual-level stainless steel sear plates with a staggered design for even heat distribution and flare-up control.
Practical Details Throughout
JETFIRE™ battery-free ignition fires every burner with a single spark, reliably, without batteries to fail mid-season. White backlit control knobs give you clear visibility after dark — you can see which burners are running and adjust heat without guessing. The upgraded ACCU-Probe™ temperature gauge has a redesigned bezel that reduces fogging and condensation for an accurate hood temperature reading throughout your cook.
The folding right side shelf provides prep and staging space when you need it and folds away when you don’t — useful on patios where clearance matters or during storage. The fixed left side shelf includes a built-in bottle opener. Napoleon’s roll-top lid retains heat efficiently and opens without extending past the back of the grill.
How It Fits in the Rogue PRO Lineup
The PRO 525 sits between the PRO 425 and the PRO-S series in terms of capability. Compared to the PRO 425, it adds a fourth main burner, a wider primary cooking surface, and more total BTU output — while keeping the same infrared side burner setup and no rear burner. If you want to add rotisserie capability, the PRO-S 525 is the next step up, adding an infrared rear rotisserie burner to the same basic platform. Our team at Fireplace Gallery can walk you through the differences in person.
Propane or Natural Gas
The Rogue PRO 525 is available in both propane and natural gas. Propane works anywhere without a gas line. Natural gas connects directly to a permanent outdoor hookup for a cleaner, lower-maintenance setup. Our team at Fireplace Gallery can help you figure out which fuel type and finish works best for your space.
Warranty
The Rogue PRO 525 is backed by Napoleon’s 15-year bumper-to-bumper warranty on all major components — strong coverage at this price point and a direct reflection of how Napoleon builds it.
