The Battery That Changes Everything

The Prime300’s patented ignition system is what makes it possible. It runs on the included AC adapter when you have power available, and switches to an optional 12V 5Ah lithium-ion rechargeable battery when you don’t. The battery is sold separately, but for anyone who wants to take the Prime300 off-grid, it’s the feature that unlocks the full potential of the grill.

For context: most portable grills that claim to be “portable” still need a power source to run the auger, igniter, and digital controls. The Prime300 runs all of it on battery, with a patented ignition system built from the ground up to make battery-powered operation viable for extended cooks.

Smoke, Sear, or Anything In Between

The Prime300 covers a temperature range of 180°F to 500°F — wide enough to handle low-and-slow smoking and high-heat searing in the same unit. The slide-control searing damper lets you switch between indirect smoke cooking and direct high-heat searing without changing setups or waiting. Dial it down to 180°F for cold-smoke flavor on fish or cheese. Push it to 500°F for a proper sear on a steak. Everything in between — roasting, baking, barbecuing — is handled by a simple dial that puts the temperature where you need it and lets the grill hold it there.

The intelligent temperature controller maintains consistent heat throughout a cook, automatically managing the auger feed rate to keep the temperature steady. Set it and walk away.

300 Square Inches, More Than It Sounds

The primary cooking surface is 300 square inches — a compact footprint that still fits a full pork shoulder, a spatchcocked chicken, or enough burgers for a small group. The swing-away warming rack adds secondary space for holding sides, toasting buns, or keeping finished food warm while the next round cooks. For a countertop grill you can carry by hand, it’s a serious amount of usable cooking area.

15–20 Hours on a Single Hopper Load

The 10 lb pellet hopper is generously sized for a countertop grill, and the digital display tells you exactly what’s left. At typical smoking temperatures, a full hopper delivers 15 to 20 hours of runtime — enough for a full brisket, a long pork shoulder, or a full day of cooking without ever stopping to reload. The new-technology auger system manages pellet feed efficiently to get the most out of every load.

Probe Included, App Connected

The included wired meat probe inserts directly into the grill and gives you real-time internal temperature readings without lifting the lid — important for low-and-slow cooks where every lid lift costs you time and heat. The Prime300 also connects via Bluetooth to the HALO app for remote temperature monitoring and alerts, so you can keep an eye on your cook from a distance without standing over the grill.
