Delta Heat Teppanyaki Grill

A grill with cooking grates is built for certain foods and certain results. The Delta Heat Teppanyaki Grill is built for everything else — the flat, continuous cooking surface that opens up a completely different style of outdoor cooking. Eggs in the morning, fried rice at lunch, seared scallops and steak at dinner, all on the same 32″ built-in unit that fits the same cutout as the Delta Heat gas grill. American-made, 304 stainless steel, 37,000 BTUs, and a griddle surface thick enough to hold heat the way a restaurant flat-top does.

The Flat-Top Difference

Grill grates are excellent for what they do. They’re not built for delicate foods, small items, eggs, rice, or anything that needs full contact with a hot surface to cook properly. The Teppanyaki’s 5/16″ solid stainless steel flat-top griddle handles all of it — the foods that fall through grates, the dishes that need the kind of even contact heat that only a flat surface provides, and the interactive teppanyaki cooking style that makes a backyard gathering into an event.

At 5/16″ thick, the griddle plate has enough mass to absorb heat, hold it steadily, and recover quickly when cold food hits the surface. Thin griddle inserts warp under high heat and lose temperature when loaded with food. The Delta Heat griddle plate doesn’t.

37,000 BTUs, Even Across the Surface

Two 18-gauge stainless steel U-Burners run beneath the full width of the griddle plate, producing 37,000 BTUs total. The U-Burner configuration wraps heat evenly under the entire 480 square inch cooking surface — no cold corners, no hot strip down the center. Individually controlled burners let you set different heat zones across the griddle simultaneously — high heat on one side for searing, lower heat on the other for holding finished food or cooking more delicate ingredients.

The 9V electronic ignition lights each burner quickly and reliably. The blue LED-lit control knobs illuminate the panel for clear visibility and precise temperature adjustments after dark — the same distinctive Delta Heat lighting detail found across the full grill lineup.

Built for the Outdoor Kitchen

The Teppanyaki Grill uses the same cutout dimensions as the Delta Heat 32″ gas grill — 30.5″ wide by 19.75″ deep — which means it drops into the same island opening. For outdoor kitchens already built around Delta Heat components, adding a Teppanyaki station is a clean, modular upgrade that fits without modification. For new outdoor kitchen builds, it pairs seamlessly with any Delta Heat gas grill in the lineup to create a complete outdoor cooking station that covers every cooking method.

A stainless steel top cover is included with the Teppanyaki, protecting the griddle surface when not in use and keeping the outdoor kitchen looking finished between cooks.

Easy to Clean

A full-width grease trough runs along the front edge of the griddle surface, channeling drippings and cooking residue away from the surface and into a removable drip tray beneath. After a cook, scrape the surface toward the trough, pull the drip tray, and the cleanup is done. For a flat-top griddle used for fried rice, eggs, and high-fat proteins, a well-designed grease management system isn’t a minor detail — it’s the difference between a griddle you use every week and one that becomes a project to maintain.

Available in Color Finishes

Like the Delta Heat gas grill lineup, the Teppanyaki is also available with a black or white powder-coated control panel for outdoor kitchens where the standard stainless finish isn’t the right match. The griddle surface and construction remain identical — the color option is a control panel finish that coordinates with the Delta Heat Color Series gas grills for a fully matched outdoor kitchen aesthetic.

Made in the USA

The Delta Heat Teppanyaki Grill is designed and manufactured in California, built to the same seamless welded 304 stainless steel standard as every other Delta Heat product. The high-polish accents on the control panel and housing are consistent with the Delta Heat gas grill lineup — a deliberate design choice that makes the Teppanyaki look like it belongs in the outdoor kitchen rather than added to it.

Propane or Natural Gas

The Teppanyaki Grill is available in propane and natural gas. Natural gas is the lower-maintenance solution for permanent outdoor kitchen installations with a direct gas line. Propane works for setups without a gas line. Our team at Fireplace Gallery can help you figure out which fuel type fits your outdoor kitchen plan.

Warranty

Delta Heat backs the Teppanyaki Grill with a lifetime warranty on stainless steel burners and housing, 15 years on stainless steel grates, 5 years on briquette trays and gas valves, and 2 years on all other components.
